Partner Program Terms

These Partner Program Terms (“Partner Terms”) govern your participation in the Vivaahli Refer & Earn program (“Program”) operated by Vivaahli (“we”, “us”) at vivaahli.com and related pages. By creating a partner account or sharing a referral link, you agree to these Partner Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The Program
The Program lets approved partners share referral links to Vivaahli’s marriage biodata maker. When a referred family completes a qualifying paid purchase, you may earn a commission as described below. The Program is intended for individuals and small businesses who share links with their own audience — wedding planners, photographers, community groups, and similar.
2. Eligibility & registration
To join, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under applicable law.
- Register with a valid email address, verify it via one-time code, and set a password.
- Provide accurate profile information, including a valid UPI ID before receiving payouts.
- Comply with these Partner Terms and all applicable laws, including advertising and consumer-protection rules.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate participation at our discretion if we suspect fraud, abuse, or conduct that harms Vivaahli or referred families.
3. Referral links & attribution
After registration you receive a unique referral code and shareable link (for example vivaahli.com/r/YOURCODE). Attribution works as follows:
- First-touch: the first valid referral code stored in a visitor’s browser (via our referral cookie, typically for 90 days) is credited. Later codes do not override an earlier attribution in the same browser.
- Biodata creation: a referral is linked when the family starts a new biodata draft while the referral cookie is present. Drafts started before clicking your link are not retroactively attributed.
- Qualifying purchase: you earn commission only when the referred biodata results in a successfully paid order through Vivaahli’s checkout (Standard or Premium tier, as priced at checkout).
- Transparency: checkout may display a note that a referral partner earns a commission on the purchase.
4. Commission
Unless we notify you otherwise, commission is 25% of the order amount actually paid (excluding taxes, discounts, or chargebacks), rounded to the nearest rupee. At current list prices this is typically ₹25 per Standard biodata and ₹50 per Premium biodata. The applicable rate is snapshotted on each earning record at the time of payment.
We may change commission rates or Program mechanics with reasonable notice posted on the partner dashboard or this page. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date unless we state otherwise.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Refer yourself or create fake purchases, including using alternate emails, devices, or payment methods to earn on your own orders.
- Spam, mislead, or impersonate Vivaahli (for example claiming to be an official Vivaahli employee).
- Cookie-stuff, iframe, or otherwise manipulate attribution tracking.
- Share referral links on sites or in contexts that violate law or third-party platform rules.
We block commission when the partner account email matches the checkout email on the same order. We may withhold or reverse earnings for other suspected abuse.
6. Payouts
Commissions appear in your partner dashboard as a pending balance after a qualifying payment clears. Payouts are made by manual UPI transfer to the UPI ID on your profile, typically on a weekly cycle (Fridays, India time), subject to operational availability. There is no automated payout integration in v1.
- You are responsible for keeping your UPI ID accurate. We are not liable for transfers sent to an outdated ID you provided.
- We may set a minimum balance before payout or delay payout while verifying suspicious activity.
- Payout timing is an estimate, not a guarantee.
7. Refunds, chargebacks & adjustments
If a referred order is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we may cancel or claw back the related commission (whether pending or already paid). See our Refunds & cancellations policy for customer-facing refund rules.
8. Taxes
You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on commission income in your jurisdiction. We do not provide tax advice and may request tax identifiers or documentation if required by law before paying amounts above statutory thresholds.
9. Relationship & licence
You participate as an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or joint venturer of Vivaahli. You may not bind Vivaahli to any obligation. We grant a limited, revocable licence to use approved Vivaahli name and marketing assets solely to promote the Program in compliance with these Partner Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop participating at any time by ceasing to share links and closing your account (contact us). We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Partner Terms or for any reason with notice where practicable. Upon termination, unpaid pending commissions may be forfeited if earned through prohibited conduct; otherwise eligible pending balances will be paid subject to verification.
11. Disclaimers & liability
The Program is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee any particular number of clicks, conversions, or earnings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vivaahli’s aggregate liability arising from the Program shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes
We may update these Partner Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Material changes to commission or payout rules will be highlighted on the partner dashboard where reasonable. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
13. Governing law
These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory protections that cannot be waived.
