Vivaahli takes privacy seriously across every product we offer — including marriage biodata and digital wedding invitations. We never sell your personal information. Drafts are stored against a private session cookie until you complete a purchase or use email flows we offer. Unpaid drafts are removed after 30 days without activity. After payment, downloads and share links stay available for the retention period of that product unless you delete your data sooner.

Products covered

• Biodata Maker — personal and family details you enter to create a marriage biodata PDF and optional shareable profile.
• Vivaahli Invites — event details, cover photos, guest lists, personalised guest links, and RSVP responses (including guest names, phone numbers when provided, attendance choices, plus-ones, and notes).

Your data, your choice

Paid customers can open their post-payment success page to re-download files or request deletion. Deletion removes product content, photos, generated files, guest records where applicable, and share links from Vivaahli servers. Files you already downloaded remain on your device. If no email is on file, contact us and we can delete data after verifying your purchase.

Information we collect

We collect the content you enter into our builders, technical data needed to run the site (such as browser type and basic logs), and—when you pay—information required to process your order. For Invites, hosts may upload guest contact details and guests may submit RSVP responses through a personalised or open invitation link. We use cookies for session and essential functionality.

Guest data on Invites

When you create an invitation, you may upload or enter guest names and phone numbers, and guests may submit RSVP details. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share guest contact information with us (for example, because you are inviting them to your wedding). We process guest data only to provide the invitation, RSVP, and host dashboard features you purchased, and to secure and improve the Service. Guests who wish to correct or remove their RSVP data can contact the host or email us at [email protected].

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay India Private Limited (“Razorpay”). We do not store your full card details on our servers; payment data is handled according to Razorpay’s policies and PCI-DSS requirements. We may receive a payment reference, amount, and status to fulfil your order.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the Service, deliver downloads or links you purchased, operate invitation and RSVP features, respond to support requests, improve reliability and security, and comply with law. We may use aggregated or de-identified analytics to understand usage patterns.

Retention & security

Unpaid drafts and uploaded photos are kept for 30 days after your last edit, then removed automatically. Paid biodata customers can re-download their PDF and use Premium share links for one year from the payment date. Paid invitation customers keep share links, card/PDF exports, and guest RSVP features available for one year from payment (unless configured otherwise). After retention ends, hosted files and share links expire; residual text may remain for support unless you request deletion. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your choices

Contact us at [email protected] for access, correction, or deletion requests where applicable. If you are in India, you may have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023—we will respond in line with applicable rules.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
